My name is Tolu Omolayo, and my musical journey began at the tender age of 13, when my late mother introduced me to the world of music. I served as the lead singer in her band before I moved to the United States to pursue new opportunities. My songwriting is deeply intertwined with my spiritual growth. I began writing in 2012, and as my faith deepened, I felt God began to inspire my songs directly. Recently, while on my way to work, I felt a powerful inspiration from the Holy Spirit to record "Glory to the Lord." This particular song has been on a long journey with me. Its creation spanned several years; the spoken word section, which is directly taken from Psalm 104 v 1-4, was written down in 2012. The inspiration for the other parts followed in 2014 and 2015. The song “Glory to the Lord” is an anthem of worship to God, inspired by Revelation 4:11. One of its core messages is that of encouragement. It's a reminder that we are never alone in life's journey, no matter what challenges we may face. I believe in always carrying a song of worship in your heart. My music reflects God's plan for our well-being—mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually (3rd John 1:2). While life is not always a bed of roses, and God does not promise us a life free from conflict, He does promise victory in the storm, beauty for ashes, joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. To me, God is a divine shock absorber, a source of strength, and everything we need Him to be. In all things, Glory to the Lord in the highest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God bless, Tolu Omolayo
